People with Ampere and Turing GPUs might want to check out today's updated drivers and DLDSR. While it won't eliminate aliasing, things do look slightly better imo and the performance hit is nowhere near traditional DSR. I'm not sure whether Pascal supports DLDSR, it might, I don't have one handy at the moment to check.

"DLDSR works in most games on GeForce RTX GPUs, thanks to their Tensor Cores. "

also, if it works just like DSR just AI powered it will be just as useless for modders because the console is also scaled into unreadable territories

Yeah, it does, DSR always comes with its quirks, though given that it performs better than standard DSR it may be worth it if all you do is play the game.

There are also some new Freestyle filters that apparently work in ETS2 and ATS, but I haven't tried these.

I tried DSR in the past, but now i use Nvidia Inspector AA hack.Works way better than DSR,but of course it has a higher impact on performance.I use 1/2 Vsync at 75 Hz(game says 74 Hz at 1080p,for some reason). That means i play at 37 fps using 4xAA.In my opinion, both truck sims are perfectly playable at 37 fps.ETS 2 and ATS aren't FPS shooters where you need super high performance ;)

not really, the difference between 30 and 60 is already big, it is playable, yes, but slow as hell and has input delays compared to 60fps

It is all a matter of getting used to the new performance. I was the kind of guy who wouldn't give up 60FPS, but after seeing the native quality of the game in 4k, I gave up the 60FPS and started playing at 30FPS. At first it was very strange, but today I do not go back to lower resolutions to play at 60FPS again. I will only go back to 60FPS the day I can change my video card. Currently I find it strange to see videos of the game at 60FPS, it seems very fast, my eyes already accustomed well with 30FPS.

Yeah,37 fps isn't that fast,i agree. But again,ETS 2 and ATS aren't CS:GO or any other FPS shooter where the game needs to be fast and without input lag.
But that's just what i think.I guess people think what they want to.
