SCS General Discussion Thread
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Wagons aren't really delivered by trucks -- you just couple them together and send them on their way to the buyer as a regular train along the railways
On the other hand, plants such as these, can certainly receive deliveries of some big machinery that will be perfect for heavy cargo or special delivery dlcs

You are wrong. Wagons (and locomotives) ARE delivered by trucks; not all of them, but lots of them for sure (as sure as more than once I've seen that kind of transports IRL).
Not all wagons or locomotives are built to be used on the railway systems linked to the factories were they are built. Or not all fulfill the rules that would allow them to be delivered using those railroad lines.
In those cases, truck haulage must be used. You can find endless pictures about that kind of transports.

Not in this case. Yes, it is theoretically possible, but not in Russia. All the railroads in the country (and in the neighboring countries too) are connected into one system. And all the traincars produced on the plants in question are used in this system. Delivering traincars by trucks is very inefficient way of transportation, and should be done only when there's no other way. But as I said earlier, in Russia there's absolutely no reason to do so.

I use a field of view of 65 degrees for most trucks in both games. Then I position the seat so that the instrument cluster is comfortably in view at the bottom of the screen, while most of the screen is dedicated to windshield space.

I made it blank in Blender. I swapped the GPS placeholder material for the same material that was used for the black side bars on the display, giving it the appearance that the screen has been turned off completely.

@VitMax From the blog post, I can only see trucks delivering train parts. So not the whole traincars that you concerned.VitMax wrote: ↑15 Jan 2022 20:46 Not in this case. @Some newbie driver You are correct. I'm from Hong Kong, and we are now just receveing lots of traincars from Korea. XD
Need trucks deliver the traincars from container port to train depot:

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Nobody said the train parts are new. The industry is new (wagon manufacturing). Although we could say it's on the same general category that locomotive manufacturing we already have (railroad machinery manufacturing).
And then I said I would like to have wagons to haul in the heavy cargo pack too like we have the Vossloh.
