I don't mind.

My biggest issue now is the AI vehicles' wheel covers don't rotate until being very close. So, I am dealing with cars sliding across the road. This triggers some motion sickness.
In your config.cfg you can adjust these options :

uset g_lod_factor_parked "2.0" <--- I believe default is set to 1
uset g_lod_factor_traffic "3.0" <--- I believe default is set to 1

This will animate the wheels further out away from you. Just increase by 1 until you do not notice it anymore. This can impact your FPS to some extent.
My system: AMD 5950X - 16GB 3600 CL14 - Asrock Taichi Ultimate X470 - 1TB Ultra M.2 - Aorus 1080TI Xtreme

Thanks, this did the trick. Neither entry was in my config.cfg file.

If they weren't in the config file you opened, it was probably the wrong config file.
The game has a universal and profile config file and both have the same name.

These values are in the universal one which is in the ATS directory (alongside your gamelog.txt)

Even with my specs Im locked at 60 frames and for some reason I get stutters when the frames drop to 40s and 50s in some areas around the maps, then I have to reset traffic and the frames jump back to 60...if I turn off Vsync then Im in the 70 frame range. Wonder why there are these drops of frames and it seems like its traffic that is causing them.

This is probably what happened, but it also looks like ATS migrated my edits to the global config.
