Dell Latitude E5520 Laptop
4 GB RAM
Intel Core i3-2350M CPU @ 2.30 GHz
Logitech WingMan Formula Force GP Wheel
Monitor: Westinghouse VR-3236 32" TV
Mouse: Nothing special, just a regular HP Wired mouse with two buttons and a scroll wheel.
Sound: Either some headphones or Logitech S-120 computer speakers, depends on the time
I don't really have anything else (That I know) to tell you. ETS2 runs kind of slow on the computer, but if I have my truck's lights turned off, it actually goes sort of smoothly. The game gets a little bit slower when I turn my lights on. Yeah... It's really not as bad as you'd think...except when I watch other people playing ETS2 on Youtube and realize how slow my computer really is. It really gets unbearable if I go to Spain or Portugal with medium graphics settings.)

Re: Post your PC Specs
Built EOY 2016.
CPU: AMD FX 6300.
Motherboard: MSI 970 Gaming.
Graphic Card: MSI Radeon RX 470 Gaming x 4Gb.
RAM: 2 x Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB DDR3 + 2 x Kingston 4GB DDR3.
Case: NZXT S340.
Keyboard: Corsair Strafe RGB.
Mouse: Corsair Glaive RGB.
Cooling System: Cooler Master Masterliquid 120 + 3 x Cooler Master MasterFan Pro 140 Air Flow.
Sound: Hyper X Cloud Alpha X Blackout (Thanks SCS & Renault Trucks for this one!).
Extra: Tobii Eye Tracker.
Controller: XBox One joystick for PC.
Sadly, I am having some issues with my old Thermaltake PSU -it's +10 years old- while I play games, so it's been a while since I played ETS2/ATS -the Christmas event was a huge pain to complete-.
Let's see how the update goes.

Laptop - Lenovo IdeaPad 100 (Modified).
.
Code: Select all
* CPU: Intel i3 5005U
* RAM: 1x8 GB (upgraded from 1x4 GB)
* Wheel: None :(
* Monitor: Not using
* Storage: 512 GB SSD Drive (upgraded from 512 GB HDD Drive)
* OS: Windows 11 (although I can play on Linux as well)

I have an ASUS X501 with identical RAM and CPU, but with installed (obsolete) Linux. Perhaps after some OS update I could try to give a shot on it for ETS2 and ATSBjh223 wrote: ↑13 Jan 2022 22:53 Dell Latitude E5520 Laptop

I7 4790k was cooled by a hyper212 Evo on an ASRock ASRock z97 extreme 6 with 16 gigs RAM. A 240gb SSD from PNY and a 4tb Toshiba HDD (I think). MSI GTX960 4GB. A USB TP-LINK adapter provides wireless network.

Wheel is now a Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition. Previous was Hori Racing Wheel Apex.
Re: Post your PC Specs
My current pc is definitely the most I've spent on a machine, funnily enough I've been using my switch more than it.
Fractal Meshify 2 Compact
Asus Strix X570-E Gaming (because I'm a gamer so it has to say gaming or it's trash)
Ryzen 9 5900X
Noctua NH-D15S
Crucial Ballistix 32GB 3200 C16
Nvidia 3080ti Founders Edition
HP EX950 512gb nvme ssd
Crucial MX500 1tb Sata ssd
Elgato HD60 Pro Capture card
WD Red 3tb hdd
EVGA 750W P3 PSU
At the moment I'm running the 3080ti with an undervolt because the psu is from my old system, I did buy a corsair psu for this new one but it had crazy coil whine. So at some point I'll replace the evga one with a 850w seasonic unit. Also the SSD is from the old system, at some point I'll just get a large capacity gen 4 nvme drive and also ditch the WD red for a large sata SSD. Just in the process of moving house at the moment so I'll wait till all thats finished.

Re: Post your PC Specs
In the Netherlands the price of the AMD 5950X (and other AMD CPUs) went down substantially. So I took the opportunity to upgrade my ancient Intel i3770 from 2012 to a fresh AMD 5950X. And now I can stare in awe at the Task Manager performance tab with 32 cores . It seems that ETS2 / ATS uses about 4 to 5 cores at most. The rest just idles. Good thing that the 5950X will boost the active cores to 4.9GHz with default settings. ETS2 is very smooth now at 400% scaling.

SSD - Crucial 250GB
Corsair Hydro H60 liquid CPU COOLER
Motherboard - ASUS Prime B450-Plus Aura sync
Psu - 500W EVGA white
Windows 10 Pro
- already have -
Logitech G290 Wheel + pedals and shifter
Logitech K120 keyboard
Logitech B100 mouse
46" Toshiba 4k television
and the less than inspiring laptop I'm typing this on.
Western Digital 500gb SSD
Kingston 128gb M.2 boot drive
MSI RTX2060 12gb - I read that this one is more focused to the mining side of things, but I've had nothing but joy so far with it.
Has anyone ever been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
