Bought myself a Subaru XV 1.6 Style in the March of the last year. Not the fastest thing out there, but it will take me anywhere I want safely in any weather you can imagine. Also having Spotify in the car is awesome :D

I have a 2012 Ford Falcon XR6 ute with 188,000km on it. I bought it when it was six months old.

I really like it, very comfortable, good performance and very practical too.

This is my 2002 Buick Park Avenue, my first car which I bought from my grandparents in the summer of 2016, when I was 17 years old. My new daily driver is below, but I still have this one and intend to keep it indefinitely. I don't drive it much anymore though, in the interest of keeping it looking nice for longer. This picture was taken last September, when it had 203k miles. I know it's abnormal for a young guy like me to like these type of cars, but I have a huge soft spot for them. This car rides like a dream, and I think this generation of Park Avenue is an especially pretty design.

Last summer I bought this 2021 Nissan Rogue to be my daily driver. I've been really enjoying it too, but if I had to choose one over the other, I would always go with the Buick. They just don't make 'em like they used to.

I just got it 2 weeks ago after being without a car for a year and a half (I feel you to that other guy) because my last car was hit in the street and I didn't want to get something new while I lived in the city and until I had a safe place to park. Also love to drive my father's monster truck at week end.

Just needs a little polishing. Kidding... My condolences.

I know the feeling. My previous car in perfect condition in 2006. And in a rather sad condition in 2017, after cyclone "Xaver" had a visit:

Wow, hope nobody or nothing important was in the back of that, thanks Reinhard, but compared to yours mine looks mint, except for the window, that's too obvious :-)

Either way it s*cks

A total loss is a total loss, no matter how it dramatic it looks. No, nothing important in the back. Some tools, nothing precious.

I could see the wavering, dancing tree from my flat, and was musing if I should drive the car to a safer place. I decided it was safer not to. Minutes later the tree came down. I think it was a good decision. :D
