is there a chance you could add rjl SCANIA, Eugene SCANIA & Volvo, Volvo 3rd generation... basically some modded truck mods that a lot of people use

I mean modders reply quick so i dont see a huge problem with asking for permission... Only if he already asked them and they said no. Always when i asked modders about something for example Dotec and Kast they replied within an hour.

I don't feel like going that route. Before I've made another mod called "Modded Trucks in Quick Jobs" and that one does not contain any models, assets or anything related to the modded trucks, all it uses is the correct path for them. Still, I got complaints about using others' trucks and although I disagree with those things, I decided to simply not go that route again.

So in this mod, I would actually need to use those trucks' models and everything that they require (interiors, skins, sounds, etc.) and that would require, at least, permission from the authors and even then I don't know how much I could change in said mods to fit into what could be needed on mine. To avoid all that hassle, I'll stick to what's "perfectly legal" to do.

I do agree that it's a shame that mods for games are coming to this point, instead of modders being helpful to each others and sharing ideas or their work, they are charging for things that they are not allowed to. In the end, everybody else loses, but it is what it is, I guess.

Seems like the mod has been taken down from Steam Workshop. I still have it in my library on Steam (deactivated in game though because of it being incompatible) but can not access the mod's page anymore. Maybe he is at it and updates it for 1.43

I made the mod hidden in Steam because I was getting daily comments with a demanding tone to update, which, honestly, only makes me less appealed to update it. In any way, I've been busy and that is why I haven't been able to update it, in fact, the last 2-3 updates I did, I did exclusively for everybody else, not for me. To put things into perspective, last time I played the game was before the lighting update in the game, so I've seen a few videos of the lighting system, but never actually played it yet.

I also made a few comments there explaining the situation, but it seems to be overlooked by many. So, for now, the mod is unlisted and when I got proper time and patient, I will look into it.

hey man, completely understand. i hate when people just repeatedly harras a modder like it's gonna make a difference. If you get round to it then great but i don't blame you if your not interested. Have a good one anyway.
