Residual travel? uhh?

hi, can someone explain to me what residual travel is in def files of chassis? like what does it do? what happens if you increase it and what happens if you decrease it? :?

I believe it's vertical travel of the suspension.

In theory, it's what's left (residual) of the wheel travel, after the suspension is compressed by the weight of the vehicle.
Retired, but still loving it.

Residual travel values are stored in .sii files, so all you need is a text editor.

I also don't believe it will do what you want it to.

you can't.
if you want to redefine "stable" position you have to move locators in chassis model.
