Next ETS2 truck speculation

I just dont care for Scania mirrorcam placement just looks so odd.
Really hoping with Mercedes they can update that really soon. Seems like they have a good relationship with them.

Don't worry about it. SCS adds trucks to the game in the configurations in which it are offered to customers in reality. So depending on your preference you can choose and make yourself the top or basic version.

Considering what they teased (mesh views, very unfinished works...) probably that truck won't arrive soon. They had to finish it, what could take months; and then it has to be approved (that in the worst scenario, it could take years; hello Renault T!).

So, either SCS releases only the MAN at the very end of the year (considering a fast final approval process), release another truck before or don't release anyone for this year (something that already happened on 2020, we must remember). I would prefer the second option, with some truck that brings clear variety to the actual roster (call it S-Way, new brands or even a surprise brand new model). Everything else the game actually lacks, quality of the model apart, is more or less "the same".

I think that when SCS showed the MAN TGX 2020 that they are already in such a phase of its creation that they could show it to us and that this year it will definitely come

The only promise they made (kinda) was about the 9900i coming in 2022. So better not to be too confident about the TGX coming in 2022. That also applies for the TGX being the next truck, anything might slip in between.

We could hope that to be true. We should also knew how things end happening other times that trucks were teased in so early work stage.

Time will tell if they confidence was realistic enough.
