Does version 1.43 have VR support?
I can't get it to work. Previously it worked perfect for me and I have not touched anything,

Needs to be selected in the beta branch

This signature virus has been spliced with the Fundementalism-B virus to create a new more contagious strain. Please look for it infecting a signature near you.

I am using Virtual Desktop with my Meta Quest 2 with this:

Oculus - Oculus+OpenVR - 1.43 (SDK 1.4.0)
Launch Option: -openvr
And I disabled both options (Steam Overlay & Theatre...)

The game runs on both my monitor and my HMD in desktop mode. What else would I be missing?

Hello everyone, i have the Quest 2 and i wanted to ask if its possible to mirror the game to the monitor with 1 eye (or another way) not like with 2 eyes on the monitor like it does when you put 1 on o_oculus_mirror_mode.

Thanks!!

could do with updating the VR SDK so we have the same exit button as the flat screen version. Only quit option no launchpad option.
At the mo if we want to change profiles or edit mods manager we cant get back to launchpad so have to quit the game and restart it to get back to launchpad. think it was 1.42 where the quit button was replaced by the exit button on flat screen but it stayed as quit button on the VR version and the option to return to the launchpad was removed.

Oculus Rift - experimental support

I'm not sure there is something for #2, it bothers me too sometimes. In other racing sims there is an option that the camera is locked to the horizon (like your brain would stabilize the image in RL). Here the camera is locked to the truck which can lead to nausea for certain people. I'm not sure @Komat is aware of this or willing to do something similar to other sims (e.g. Assetto Corsa/rf2/Dirt 2, s.o.), but I think it would be greatly appreciated by many VR truckers.
I would love to lock the camera to the horizon like in other sims, cause right now I get dizzy. Are there any news about this?

Getting back into trucksim and VR. What is the current way to disable the automatic movement out of the side window when you look left? All I can find from earlier is to set
uset g_hmd_no_artifical_movement "0" to "1", but that doesn't make any difference.

Edit: Aaaaand of course, as I click Submit I remember that I always get confused by finding my profile under "profiles(version number)" when I am just supposed to go to "profiles". Every time! Sorry guys.

quest (meta) 2 launch should be -oculus not -openvr

I know this isn't technically the right section of the forum to ask but I wondered if anyone has got Scania Truck Driving Simulator to work in VR or if it has support similar to ETS2/ATS?

I just watched a video of Jimmy Broadbent doing the road of death in STDS and thought that would be interesting in VR.
