There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

I never follow the "instructions" when it comes to any sound mod pack. I adjust the levels to my liking, and you should do the same. Everyone has their own preference on what they prefer.
You can write almost any way you want, and you might make yourself understood.
But, if you don't use standard English properly, you would also help people understand that you aren't well educated.

There's the adaptation for Kriechbaum's Mega sound pack, I'd recommend using that for the time being. See if those engines sound like they should.
There's no instructions for a sound mod, you just place it in your mod manager above your trucks.

No, I meant some sound packs I've come across give you instructions on what your sound levels should be in Audio Options.

*snerk* I'm sorry, but I chortled when I read that and pictured you driving a truck with zero displacement. I bet you got great fuel mileage.

Only the best! My mind instantly went "volume=music" and nothing more.

@Digital X Unless I overlooked it, but how would I get the strobe lights to work? Is there a particular .sii or .sui file that control that? Or, is the flashing handled by a .pmg file?
I mean, I can look at an ETS2 truck's functional strobe's files for comparison but I wouldn't know what I should be looking for.

@ChiliBeef Where abouts are the strobes node wise?
If you mean the Beacons press "O". I know the Police one isn't working I'm looking at why.

@Digital X Yes, I know about pressing "O" for beacon. Also, Secondary Vehicle Lights is enabled in my gameplay options.
It would be the Light Bar sub-nodes, the strobes by ohaha. They are labeled as Strobe Blue (ohaha), Strobe Orange (ohaha), and Strobe Red (ohaha).

ChilliBeef and Digital X,
The strobes by ohaha labeled as Strobe Blue (ohaha), Strobe Orange (ohaha), and Strobe Red (ohaha) are found in ..\def\vehicle\addon_hookups\ohaha_3.sui (or *.sii).
Inside this file you will read that the strobes are suitable for:
suitable_for[]: "bcklght"
suitable_for[]: "r_grill"
suitable_for[]: "b_grill"
suitable_for[]: "sdskrt"
suitable_for[]: "fenders"
I'm not sure if they are to suppose to flash or are lit continuously ?.
