Re: Montana Discussion Thread
Fountain Paint Pot, Yellowstone. That might be the Montana Yellowstone part, or part of it?

I see why you say that. From what I've been told, small distribution powerlines on wooden poles are rare in Europe as most places bury the powerlines underground. But here in the US, overhead powerlines are still widely used in cities and towns, and these cylindrical transformers can be seen mounted on the poles.

Best part about the Montana microsite might be that you can now download each wallpaper size individually, instead of having to download the whole zip file and unzip the resolution you want

I feel they need to add this to the game somehow lol. The most important thing most people have learned about the city

I'm looking forward to it, and the microsite look good.

That's awesome! Whoever is working on that area should redo Eureka and Redding a third time lol.oldmanclippy wrote: ↑17 May 2022 15:37 Best part about the Montana microsite might be that you can now download each wallpaper size individually, instead of having to download the whole zip file and unzip the resolution you want

But Montana looks nice, as does all the cargo on the ground. SCS, please let us haul some of it.
Re: Montana Discussion Thread
There's also Clark's Lookout in Dillon, off I-15. I can see this post also showing places party was, like crossings of the Missouri downstream from Grand Falls, the Missouri River Canyon, the Three Forks, Traveler's Rest State Park, Bozeman Pass, the valley of the Yellowstone, and the Meriwether Lewis Obelisk.oldmanclippy wrote: ↑17 May 2022 15:14 Lewis and Clark Expedition (Pompey's Pillar is the only physical evidence of the expedition, which is right off of I-94 east of Billings)
@oldmanclippy, Our Lady of the Rockies appears in screenshot 8. I was hoping there would be a screenshot with it in the evening, when it's lit up, so I could say, "The beacons of Minas Tirith! The beacons are lit! Gondor calls for aid!"
@Shiva, only a little bit of Yellowstone spills into Montana, but the Fountain Paint Pots, in Wyoming, would be along a part of road added with Montana, so you're right in a way. I hope they aren't overlooked, not having them would be a big missed opportunity.
The Journeys of Zephyr of the American West
Handy maps and diagrams.
Furthermore, I consider that I-80 across Nevada must be redone next.

Yeah I think that's a good estimate of what will come. I like the historically-focused blog posts.rbsanford wrote: ↑17 May 2022 16:51 There's also Clark's Lookout in Dillon, off I-15. Yep there she is, real needle in a haystack Yeah at night she will be much easier to spot and much more majestic.rbsanford wrote: ↑17 May 2022 16:51 @oldmanclippy, Our Lady of the Rockies appears in screenshot 8. Why does it say "ORO Y PLATA" in the middle of the blog site? What does it mean and why is it there?Marcello Julio wrote: ↑17 May 2022 15:00 https://blog.scssoft.com/2022/05/montan ... ntana.html

@koolizz That's the state motto, "Gold and Silver" in Spanish. It's called "The Treasure State" for a good reason
