Re: SCS Blender Tools
thats why i convert every mod i make into a separater folder far away from the mod folder, i already ask 50k if it is possible, maybe a bug report is better, just abort the conversion if the text field is left empty

Re: SCS Blender Tools
Your main game mod folder?!
Good grief.
@abasstreppas try Recuva or Disk Drill.

Those won't help. Been there. Learned the hard way to daily backup my files.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
Given they're recovery programs I thought they would? or is it something specific that is the issue?
Re: SCS Blender Tools
Tried them a few minutes after and nothing showed up. Only unrelevant old files.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
most likely because the conversion tools dont delete the files, they right out wipe them, Windows doesnt delete your files, they just flag them as not needed and are overwritten when you save something new, so the space is just marked over writable, conversion tools right out wipes that space

Re: SCS Blender Tools
I posted about "Animation blinkers" here.
However, the change files for the latest games only exist on my local disc. I decided there was no demand.

One more thing
"flipsheet" is already supported in Blender Tools. I also did research on this.
I'm also experimenting with "gaming" illuminations. The wheel rim and cabin will discolor and emit light in that way. I also posted a reference YouTube.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
No resent general backup. I tend to move outdated mods to a new folder after game update (those that cast errors/warnings) , but it's not done always. Problem is that I had a lot of small mods, like edits of downloaded mods and also my own stuff was a mess with gazillions of small add-ons. I surely need to make a new profile too. I will miss that one, as it has been around for some time - level 170+.
Well, maybe time for a fresh restart. Now I definitely need to finish all my mods, because a lot of those in my mod folder weren't updated for a long time... or maybe I just do something else, read a book maybe

Re: SCS Blender Tools
I feel your pain, the same thing happened to me once!
For future reference if you didn't know, you can write in a placeholder mod name on a blank Blender project and click File/Defaults/Save Startup File, it'll use that for any new projects instead of risking leaving it blank. It's actually saved me from forgetting a couple of times, even knowing what happened the first time...
