SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: [1.39] Modified Peterbilt 379/389 V2.3 ETS2
@Madkine Lol, I'm 74 and my eyesight is going, I can't do a skin anymore without a lot of strain. So, I missed the actual subject line, my mistake, sorry folks!
Re: [1.39] Modified Peterbilt 379/389 V2.3 ETS2
Hi everyone, I thought I had solved nothing instead.
I post some screenshots to make you understand the problem of the headlights, they are very strong and on these screens they are even a little lighter, on dark roads they are practically white. Is there a file I can take action to slightly adjust the brightness or some other way?
Thanks in advance for your help.

What's special about it? You can make any color you like in the garage.

@mauzam The headlights def will need updating, They are old (Pre 1.40 standards). For the time being you can copy the headlight's def .sii files of the SCS 389 and put that in place of the current 2.3 version.
Re: [1.39] Modified Peterbilt 379/389 V2.3 ETS2
Excuse me, can you please write in more detail what exactly needs to be done?
Re: [1.39] Modified Peterbilt 379/389 V2.3 ETS2
Sure.
You will need your game files extracted though, the Peterbilt 389 from SCS using the SCS Extractor. Once done you will have a list of folders like a regular mod.
Open this 389 mod and go to: def > vehicle > truck > peterbilt.389v2 > head_light folder.
You will see both "standard.sii" and "xenon.sii".
Now in the SCS 389 folder go to: def > vehicle > truck > peterbilt.389 > head_light folder.
You will see "standard.sii."
Copy this "standard.sii" from the SCS 389 head_light folder into viper2's head_light folder. You will get a dialog box asking if you want to copy, click yes.
If done, the file should be 106 lines in length (using Notepad++)
Make sure you alter the unit name to: accessory_head_lights_data : std.peterbilt.389v2.head_light
Edit: Give me a bit I don't know why that wont work on my end now. Worked for the 1632...
My mistake, do the same for the "xenon.sii" just rename inside the .sii file as well.
Should be like this once both are done:

It looks daunting, that's just my overly complicated way of explaining simple things!
