UI sounds (ui.bank) unable to be modded [KNOWN]

Modded user interface sounds replacing /sound/ui/ui.bank do not work.

Changing the UI sound soundref files to link to another sound bank does not work either.

Game version: 1.44.1.4s

Maybe this is another case of UI files loaded in advance of the mod manager? Did you try "-force_mods"? Not saying this would help.

@Reinhard - The last time I tried it with "-force_mods" was in this bug report a couple of years back, and that worked: viewtopic.php?t=282748

But of course it's not ideal to forgo the conveniences of the Mod Manager. Earlier game versions pre-FMOD would at least let the UI sounds apart from the "click" sounds be modifiable without "-force_mods"

Can't really say because I never used the game without "-force_mods, since the mod manager was introduced.
