[REL] Peterbilt 359 - RELEASE!

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Looking good so far, the attention to the details is always appreciated!

Those small windows really add to the classic look, would love them as an option.

Do you have plans to have various stick configurations? Like having twin sticks with a select able shift pattern plate to identify it as a 4X4, 5X4, or 6X4; having the old airshift plunger straped to the stick; or having the first and second generation Eaton knobs (the silver one and the horseshoe shaped one).
Better known as Jake from State Farm.

I love the early 359A cab too. The problem is there are some major differences between the early and later 359s, hood, angles, cabin, panels etc. so keeping both as options in a single mod would be a nightmare since everything has to fit every configuration. It would be wayyyy easier to just create a separate A model mod altogether. Could I simply ghetto it up and have have two windshield options and ignore everything else? Sure, but that type of sacrilege would drive me crazy - a huge part of building this in the first place was to make an accurate 359 :D

In other news, slow but steady progress. How's this for realistic patina; it looks dense but the entire chassis is less than 15K verts.

i love the used look,
Always preferred my trucks looking like they're actually doing something rather than looking completely clean and sparkly 24/7

very nice job so far :)

Rapidly approaching that point where I need to figure out animations.

This is before any shadows and AO btw, which always make it look slightly cartoonish. And yes, there will be a used looking interior as well.
