Understood. I didn't completely finish reading the blog before making that comment, lol. Slowly but surely, the more common trailers used in North America are coming off that list. When you guys remake the car hauler, that will be amazing. Maybe Texas brings that then if Texas is bringing a car factory since tankers are now.

At some point, bringing back the curtain sider would be nice. It was removed for 1.32 when you guys started remaking trailers. The curtain sider, car hauler and moving style trailers are the last non specialized trailers to make now. You guys might even be able to use the curtains from ETS2 trailers, mix it with ATS dry vans and drop decks and come up with North American curtain siders. But these tankers where the most requested trailer type to bring. It had more request than lowboys. Now we have both reworked and that is great.

I agree with the posters that said licensed tankers. That would be another boost for ATS. Heil and others....hopefully Oscar is on his A game :D

Just to be clear : you paid for what you bought at the moment you bought it. So when the game was in version 1.20, the 1.20 content. When the game was in version 1.30, the 1.30 content.

Nobody can force SCS to bring more free content update to the game. Everything that come to the base game for free is a bonus given to you by SCS.
And I really don't know a lot of compagnies that brought some many features during a 10 years period without requiring you to buy the brand new ETS 2015, ETS 2017, ETS 2019, ETS 2022, etc.

The only things they propose you to buy are new map DLC 1-2 times a year, and a few trailer DLC. But without them, the game is still 100% playable. And with free base map update they have been doing since a few year now, the experience start to be almost at the DLC level experience (the only difference been the size of the map and some extra-trailer DLC).
I wouldn't mind paying for more features. I would like to pay for more cargo. I would even like to pay for a new game. SCS refuses to make these money-making opportunities available.

Thank goodness for the forum's "add foe" feature...

Back on topic, these new restaurants and gas stations look great. I really appreciate the improvements in 2D models the last few years for both games. For those that want real world companies, that's what mods are for. The less SCS has to spend on lawyers the more they can spend on developers and artists.

I have to say, I really like the new Gas Stations. By far, I really like ARON the most, as I think it stands out very well.

I haven't seen if any of the fuel brands have tanker liveries, but if they don't, here's to hoping we see some in the future! :)

Only Distinction and Prestige have paintable bodies (both regular and metallic options.)

@eonellivlem +1 The most frequent users here for some reason treat SCS like their own family or a fragile baby that you can't criticize or have to handle delicately lol. Somebody think of the poor devs, how will they recover from those horrible forum comments asking for more features! :lol:
