new ATS player: Crash to desktop issue

#1 Post by Skeetbeezy428 » 29 Jun 2022 16:21

Fairly new to PC gaming, I know enough to be dangerous so please go easy on my technical ignorance...

Played for about 4 hours vanilla absolutely no issues... Then downloaded real world signs mod and immediately started having blue screen crashes. That error code on the PC was:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I deleted that mod and that solved my blue screen crashing... But now I can't go 5-10 minutes without the game crashing to desktop...

I then deleted the entire profile to start from scratch and that didnt help solve anything unfortunately. In the pastebin link is the last crash log

any help or insight is much appreciated:

Game Build: 1.44.1.22

PC: Windows 10
CPU:Intel i7-12700k
GPU: Geforce RTX 3070

Thanks for the reply... I checked my windows updates and there was one available... strangely yesterday there wasn't when I initially finished my PC setup... I will give this a try and see if it fixes my issue...

Update: updated computer and all available drivers... uninstalled ATS from computer and reinstalled. Played for about 10 min and it crashed to desktop... Going to Uninstall steam completely and try again...

Anyone experience this at all?

This file: nvwgf2umx.dll, relates to your graphics card drivers. Have you tried running DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and reinstalling them off the Nvidia website?

Can you also post your game.log as well please, it usually provides more insight than the crash.log.

Thanks, nothing stands out there apart from a blank .tobj.

Have you tried using DDU as suggested above? Is your GPU overclocked by your or default?

I am going to give that a shot quickly and see if that fixes anything.

Update: Have tried multiple times to remove drivers and reinstall... Still the same issues... at this point I am still assuming its ATS and not steam or my PC but not entirely sure since this is the only game installed.

I am updating flight sim overnight and will try that tomorrow to see if that weeds anything out... Thanks all to have helped and thrown out suggestions. I will keep updated once I know more...

Here's the latest crash log and game log

Crash log indicates a video driver crash, not a game crash.

Game log is silent.
