Dynamic shadows distance adjustment

Hi! I’m tired of waiting for the game to show the range adjustment of dynamic shadows. I want to try to deal with it myself. I found these files in these directories (see picture).

I suspect I need to work with these files:

If I am correct in my guesses, what software should I open these files to save them correctly? I’d really appreciate your answers, girls and boys.

Opening them is easy. Just use notepad. I think the real problem would lie in trying to understand what means what inside those files.

Notepad does not understand encoding. Dealing with content is much easier if you can see it)

those files are useless, you cant do anything with them if you dont have the source code where they are from
