ATS Open beta 1.45 is out. I've read the changelog, and couldnt find a direct refrence to the stuttering trailer issue (or it must be caught by the phrase 'bug fixes').

Can someone confirm/deny that the trailer issue is part of the 1.45 release?

I’ll try on ETS2 and see later.

[UPDATE] It seems that this issue has indeed been fixed in 1.45 open beta.

My first impression on ETS beta 1.45 is that's indeed being fixed! Did about 4000km of jobs, "triple-slept" a lot (to trigger the cluttering even more) but still going strong. The cargo job list also looks healthy now.

[UPDATE]

Yes, it is fixed! Drove several hours with my own trailer, no stutter whatsoever.

Good job SCS! @Max

Thanks to everyone here who kept trying to find the cause of this problem. Decades ago I would have done the same as I used to program back in the 1980's and was used to chasing bugs, but these days I just don't have the motivation, the patience, or the energy, and tend to walk away from frustrating problems.
It's great to be able to finally play with owned trailers without stutters. :)
