SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

may or may not have been mentioned but I could not find it, I cannot install this app at all, it states it needs .net to run yet it is installed on my PC?

@Bin_Cube25 Make sure you are downloading the correct .net. It needs to specifically v5 64 bit desktop runtime. See the following post for a screen shot example:

Yep I am. Not sure what the go is here. I’m trying to get the files to skin the 9900i because the paint job pack r app doesn’t have them

A fair few have been having issues with 3d previewer including myself after a windows update.

I do not know why but if you download the archive version, then extract only "ModsStudio2Previewer.exe" and over-write the one in the default mods studio 2 directory ... mine now works.

You could also uninstall and then reinstall using the installer - for me this did not work even though there are no differences between the files.

Hello,

Error in the front mask of the DAF XF Euro 6
I am currently creating a skin for Spedition Raeth in Straelen (Germany). Their trucks are painted turquoise and have red front masks. Here I noticed an error in the DAF XF Euro 6.

If you move the cursor to the paint under Front Mask, the upper and lower front masks are displayed with a border on the image. However, only the entry "acc_list[]: "f_intake_cab.paintable"" is created in the corresponding sii file. However, the additionally required entry acc_list[]: "f_intake_chs.paintable" is missing.

If I add this entry manually, not only the lower front mask but also the lower grille guard turns red, but that could also be a bug in the game.

Join our discord and download the latest patch files for ets2. The latter is a game bug. That would need to be reported to SCS via this forum.

Hello,
thank you for this very helpful tool - Mods Studio 2. In my previous work everything works quite easily and reliably.

But now I have a problem. I just want to edit a Krone Profi Liner, everything is fine, only the mudflap does not work. I have set it up correctly, but it does not appear in the game. With the SCS trailers it works perfectly. Does anyone have any ideas?

Maybe it is also a good idea to integrate the new SCS option mp_mod_optional in Mods Studio 2?

Hi @umdre71 , we've already added the new manifest option to our to do list for the next release.

In regards to the Krone bumper issue; is it this bug by any chance? Or something else?

Thanks @pete_agreatguy for the quick reply and for the soon manifest option.

I think my problem has nothing to do with the bumper. I do not get the mud flap displayed in the game for selection, although I created it correctly in the studio. My templates work at least for the SCS trailers.
