If you really want to discover it then you can enable developer console and teleport yourself to the tracks. Drive along them and it will discover.

Yes this issue is known and I've poked into developer to do something about it.
Edit: I bring good news. It has been finally fixed in our internal build and fix should be included in upcoming update
