Montana Discussion Thread
Re: Montana Discussion Thread
That's alright, I'll take your word for it. I just wasn't aware that it was actually something they talked about.
Seeing how ETS2 has it, and there are ways to do a meat processing plant without making it obvious that animals are turned into meat for consumption, I think they might still add it in the future.
It's just one of many middleman companies missing from the game at this point.

Re: Montana Discussion Thread
I sure hope so for the exact reason you state and something I always mention........that middle man company. Broken links in industries is what causes head scratcher cargo pickups and drop offs. We have some cargoes in the game that don't have a true origin of where its made. Prime examples are precast concrete tubes and pipes. We have this cargo but it just automatically appears at depots without a manufacturer in place. Both are very worthy depots to add depth to the construction/building materials industry.
I understand that each state will need to bring something new so that we don't run out but between industries not represented in ATS and middle man companies, there is plenty left to broaden the economy in the game. I play this game for the love of trucks and for logistics but ATS isn't like its big brother/big sister. Its more limited but perhaps Montana is that turning point where the devs are taking notice to more people wanting a better logistic system.

My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Well, about people wanting a better logistics system, I totally agree! I really hope that with Texas and/or Montana it will be a turning point for some things.
Study will not always make you wise, sometimes it will simply make you more superb.

Well heck, if that's the case, what's the deal with ATS. Understood no deliveries for cattle. We have meat in ATS already. A Nordic Crown equal is needed in ATS. If Montana didn't bring process, Texas should and bring cold storage to take the meat to.Shiva wrote: ↑02 Jul 2022 16:33 @flight50 Nordic Crown, processes meat, but! it does not accept cattle.

If ETS2 didn't take cattle to Nordic ATS can follow that lead. I seriously don't see why ATS can't get a processing center.
