For those who live in Europe or know European cars, yes, it looks like a Fiat Punto 2002, but as it is a Brazilian car here it is quite different and is called Palio. The real Fiat Punto came to Brazil only in the newer versions at 2007.
It is nothing fancy or luxurious, but it is a cheap car to maintain and for a tropical country like Brazil, it has air conditioning and that is very good!
It's just not like it is in this picture because in 2018 a drunk found me at the traffic light and wrecked his front end. After that I fixed it but it was never again like it used to be. Oh, and the sun ruined with my hood paint.

It's been a couple of months since a storm wrecked my previous car so now I'm driving this blue monster, the upside is that I can always find it back when I forgot where I parked it.

In December last year I finally broke and decided to buy a "fun car". After a bit of searching I got this one:

Not as fun as I originally hoped it would be and I actually had it listed for sale for a short while, but ultimately I decided to keep it.

I imagine after you experience the instant torque of an electric, the fun bar gets raised and petrol cars have a hard task of getting there?

But nonetheless it's a cool looking car

Yup, the age of the car doesn't help either. It wouldn't be faster from the regular petrol version of my daily grocery getter, it can't even get close to electric.
But yeah, it stays, it surely does look more representative than my regular shopping cart and I figured that with a few modifications (which shouldn't be too expensive), it has a potential.

I drove an electric for a while. The takeoff is insane but that's about it. Nothing can beat holding the revs and clutch ready for a quick takeoff in a 1.0 3cyl Corsa C.

My late grandfather had a similar car, a 2000 Buick LeSabre Custom, had the great 3.8L V6 ran and drove like a dream, he never drove anything in his life other than Chevrolet and GM. That car is probably gone unfortunately, since he decided to hand the car over to his relatives in South Carolina and they didn't take care of it at all, haven't seen it since 2016, the last time I went to the area.

Me and my grandfather were different with which car brands we liked, he said "I would rather pull a Chevy than drive a Ford". I'm a Ford guy, but I used to be a VW and Chrysler-Dodge guy until my parents bought a 1994 Ford Econoline E350 Motorhome with the legendary 460 7.5L V8 back in 2011. Although the RV was rough on the inside and out, it ran quite strong and had 55,000 miles when my parents sold it. Hopefully it is still on the road and the owners give it love.
Here is a photo of it in 2015, the last year we owned it. and if you're wondering "where is the side-step", the RV popped a tire on I-95 in Georgia and destroyed the step fender. it almost flipped over too and I experienced it.

In other news, my Fusion 2.0T is about to reach 100,000 miles. I plan to keep that car for a long time, and keep it maintained very well as I've been doing with it.
