I love this version of Cascadia.
Many regret this. But apparently, SCS could only get a license for the new Cascadia, and I doubt that a license will be issued for the old version. Although it would be very cool to get it right now, when the level of modeling is very high, as can be seen on the example of the long-discontinued 9900i.

Yeah, obviously they didn't get a permit. But it would be amazing if we could have him someday, but most likely not. Anyways.

@Mohegan13 I guess, didn't interpret several comments like that though.
I'm not that picky on details like that and actually like the game the way it is atm, if SCS quit developing it I'd still be playing it for years to come :-) in the back of my mind i'd prefer it so I can keep on using certain truck mods that I really like, but lack the skills of keeping them updated.

Nah that's what I meant above with "outdated" and it is exactly what others mean with that word.

Outdated as in graphics else we would be talking about older trucks.

The quality is quite bad compared to today's standards and that makes our options even less than ATS's.

Brands play a key role in the making/release of a truck but a LOT also lays on SCS's hands... And i'm not feeling the rush to be completely honest.

Take Volvo and Iveco for example... There are no new trucks from those brands since 2013, that is almost 10 YEARS.

And we still have no clue on when or even IF the Actros 5, FH 2020, S-Way, TGX 2020 and the NewGen Scania Engines will appear in-game.

This! Being able to haul for Walbert as a company driver would be a far more realistic transition into the industry than starting fresh as an owner/operator.

You actually doing that indirectly when starting with quick-jobs. You may not be bound to one company, but you still doing jobs for others.

Agreed, but I want a dedicated truck and terminal (which should be the final garage update imo).

Profile seriousmods:
Based in Denver, assigned to truck # ______, told to pick up trailer #______ from the terminal, take it to USBB and haul to Cheyenne's Walbert.

What will be next? Oklahoma or North Dakota?

I don’t think anyone wants North Dakota after Texas. It would just make the biggest C-shaped map they could possibly do.
