There is still a huge number of territories that need to be redone except for the UK: Poland, Benelux, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway ... In my opinion, it is more logical to recycle transit countries. So, without bouts of nausea, we will soon be able to travel between the outlying DLCs and not use teleportation. For example, now you can safely drive from Portugal through France and the updated Germany to the updated Austria and enjoy the beauties of the locations as the level of 2022. To get the same route to Turkey, it remains only to update Hungary. As for the UK... I'm just wondering how many percentages of gamers like to break their brains by driving on the left hand side. Plus, the country, probably in 90% of cases, is the end point and does not serve as an intermediate point on the route. Yes, the territory is outdated, but it seems to me that its renewal is not a primary task. The update of Germany and Austria is a very logical decision, considering the in-game age and location of these countries relative to others.
I agree. UK is the least important base map country left. Honestly Poland and Hungary are probably the most important countries that still need to be reworked, but they won't come until after all of the base map. Switzerland is the most likely country they will do next, with the Benelux probably after that.

As for Denmark, Norway and Sweden, the map is far better than the base map/ Going East. I don't think they need to do the Austria treatment of completely deleting and building from scratch. Tbh they probably just needs a bit of a retexture and maybe a few new roads/ cities here and there.

@tomprice98 Scandinavia is a little outdated against the backdrop of the latest DLCs and freshly reworked territories. However, for example, some parts of the previously updated base France were updated a second time: Lyon, Paris, Lille, interchanges and highways in the vicinity of these cities. Therefore, I think that a similar update to modern quality standards for SCS mapping should be applied to Scandinavia. It’s just unpleasant to see low-poly corners in such beautiful locations, an outdated roadway model with a texture with repeating seams / joints (the problem is only relevant for highways, since two-lane roads are made using modern technologies), typical prefabs from GTS 2010, and a pixel horizon.

There are questions about the exit order. As it was written here before, it is logical to assume that in honor of the decade of ETS 2, we can expect a rework of the Czech Republic with the SCS office in 1.46.

Any probability of changes in RttBS and Iberia?

Why is everyone so worried about the remake of Germany, I can’t understand?
100% agree with this. UK is as bad as Germany was prior to the Germany map updates. Signs are wrong, roads have a weird layout, the graphics are heavily outdated (e.g. the fields are completely flat with a painted surface), the roads are generic, many corners have "jagged" road markings, and the only thing that makes it feel like UK is that you drive on the wrong side of the road. Not only is UK horrible compared to the rest of the map, but it has always been like that. And that feeling just gets highligted for each DLC, because SCS pays so much attention to details in the new content (which is a good thing).

Taking the train to UK, feels like going in a time machine back to UK Truck Simulator. Now that Germany is fixed, I really hope UK is on top of the priority list.

For Iberia, I would say that a third crossing of the Pyrenees is possible. The existing road network even "hint" at it (the needed junctions for such a route are already in the game)

So would be the road between Hunedoara and Pitesti through Sybin (new city addition perhaps? Or leave it in the background), namely A1+DN7. Scenic, because it goes through the mountains, and shortens the forced detour.

I would prefer Hunedoara-Brasov.

Both I guess.
I wouldn't mind an update, after all or most of the planned territory is covered or reworked, in which the largest gaps in road network are thoughtfully filled.
