Logitech G29 Steering Wheel / Settings not holding, most importantly, dialing down the centering spring strength

#1 Post by ChrisCanfield » 09 Jul 2022 04:58

I seem to be affected with a “Gaming Bug” on one of my HP ProBook 450 G3 Laptops.

Here’s what’s happening.

I’m using the Logitech G29 steering wheel along with the use of the Logitech G Hub software download.

After u download it, & plug in the wheel when asked, then u reboot u’r pc, then adjust the steering wheel setting:
(SEE ATTACHED IMAGE),
“Centering Spring Strength”, & reboot u’r pc again, then to test to see if the setting is retained, I launch the truck game & apparently the setting doesn’t keep cause the wheel goes to dead center axis & goes stiff on me (AS SEEN IN THE ATTACHED IMAGE).

Is there anyone that may have a solution to this problem of mine ?

Please reply soon, & thanks.
Chris Canfield.
