Hi,
Can anyone tell me what these gray signs that appear before bridges are meant to mean? Are they something that exists in real life or are they just in this game? I couldn't find any information on here or on Google
Thanks.
Gray signs before bridges
Re: Gray signs before bridges
I noticed them, too, but do not know the answer. Your observation that they tend to come before bridges makes me think they might say "bridge may be icy" or something like that.

Re: Gray signs before bridges
I've only ever seen warning signs for icy bridges in a yellow diamond shape, with either a written warning or a car with wavy tire tracks and a 0C temp indicator. I'm in Canada, but I've seen the written warnings in the northern U.S. in my trips there. Never seen a grey sign like that. I wonder if it's a general warning indicator but it's mistakenly facing backwards?
I'll try to pay attention and check them out in closer detail if I see one.

All signs are grey on the back. What you're seeing here is the upper half of the sign's back side. The sign is folded down because it doesn't currently apply. Folding signs with hinges are not uncommon IRL.

Those signs in r/l can be flipped up the make a triangle shape sign that warns of ice on the bridge...

Thanks all. Consider my curiosity satisfied.
I've just managed to find a real life example on Street View:

Winter: https://www.google.com/maps/@46.8789342 ... 384!8i8192
Now just need a mod that unfolds them

^ Yep, such a mod would be interesting for sure. There's viewtopic.php?t=293342 by @KrysEmlyn. I wonder if this could be done in a similar fashion?
Nice catch on Street View BTW.

Just came here to say what @nautofon said. Just parked by one of them in game to check it out, and it's modeled folded in half pretty well. Not that it really matters, since we probably won't have seasonal weather for years, if ever.
