automatic jake brake

hi, new here.I have my jake brake set to automatic so it should automatically come on when i step off the gas but, it does'nt i have to press the B button for it to come on ,any advice? thankyou.

Pretty sure automatic retareder or automatic engine brake means they come on when you use the brakes. If you leave the engine brake or retarder ON, then it'll cut in when the throttle is released. Same with exhaust brake.
If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

yeah ,but it doesn't do that ,thats what I'm trying to figure out.

it does for me, but I use kb/mouse to drive.
If you use a wheel and pedals, check your deadzones.
If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.
