Since you mentioned the rescale, so glad that they did it back then. Imagine the whole map still in that 1:35 scale. Maybe we got a few more states by now but it would feel far less realistic and more lika a game map.

Yeah the rescale was great when it happened. Refocus one more time now before the map grows even larger. Plus if the new red lights come, they have to implement them everywhere anyways so swap out depots then.

Pic 5 is here on Navigation Blvd in Corpus Christi
Pic 6 could be Galveston harbour judging by the Oil platform
Pic 6 could also be here in Brownsville. The structure in the background can already be seen in other pictures.

Regarding this, there is atleast 1 company in ATS, that has the same name as a real company.
Bushnell. But it ain't cattle nor farming IRL.
NTM's B-Double Telescopic Skeletal Container Carrier. Youtube video on how it works. W & S thread.
B-Double trailer and short modes: EN 7.82 swap body, 20’ or 30’ containers.
Standalone 40' mode: EN 7.82 swap body, 20', 30', 40' or 2 x 20' trailer.

LATrucker wrote: 11 Aug 2022 15:36But even if that's the case it would be nice to get this info earlier. Most times we hear and read about new industries pretty early, but nothing about new companies.
SCS doesn't even have to show them, but it would be great to know that there will be new companies.
The latest Texas blog about agriculture doesn't contain any signs of a new company. First I thought that maybe Walden's is a new company, although I only see a trailer skin of that company. But it appeared already in Montana.
At this stage of the developing process you would expect to see several screenshots of new companies...? But all we can see on the screenshots of the Agriculture blog are old(er) companies...

@Vinnie Terranova So far, the only new we see is what what posted here:
Marcello Julio wrote: 11 Aug 2022 16:06 For now, the new companies in Texas we have:
Pecan Farms
AI Automotive

Recently with Montana in Great Falls, there is an unused Kolico depot. I hope this is an indication that Kolico will become a functional company with Texas.
It does bring concern. We 16 Texas blogs and counting and so far only 2 companies revealed that are new. Now its only August. If Texas is Nov/Dec there is still time but we don't know the full process. What we do now though is that we only see 2 new companies. If they are going to copy paste, which they will, lets hope that anything from the base map is not used. Newer prefabs are much better. Heck run thru ETS2 prefabs at this point and see what an get rebranded from there. That's another cheat. Perhaps less tweaking than creating brand new for everything.

Texas is large enough to create a lot of new, reused older ATS prefabs, import from ETS2 annnnd even recreate some things from 18WoS. Texas has a lot to pick from but too much of the old stuff will drag the dlc down more than what it should imho.

You mean companies or prefabs? Pretty sure Texas will feature dozens of the latter given recent dlcs introduced around 10-12 prefabs.

Flight is talking about companies themselves, not prefabs. Prefabs as always there are hundreds of new ones.

Yes, as much as only 2 new companies for Texas have been presented so far, I don't believe this means the 2D team isn't working on anything. I'm sure they are working on the new companies. They know how important this is. We hope that the next blogs will start showing us some of them.

I found a prefab possibly from original California in Montana (one of the "farms"). It was kinda sad tbh.

Marcello is correct. I'm only referring to new companies. I'm sure any existing company used will bring over all its prefab variants. I just hope they avoid using base map variants. They are out of date and don't fit lcv's very well. We need a lot more space to move around depots now.
