New update problem

Has anyone notice blank spots in roads in the states of California, Navada when they added the new update 1.45. Please let me know if anyone knows how to fix the problem or will SCS software will have to make an update for the problem.

Not me. If you use mods, try without; if you don't, make a bug report.

What do you mean by blank spots in roads? On the actual driving surface, or spots on the map that have reverted to being undiscovered? If the latter, that happens when they do a fix to a part of the road that is substantial enough to require redoing it entirely. It flags it as a 'new' section of road.

If it's not that, try verifying your files in Steam. Go to your library in Steam, right click on ATS in the list on the left, choose properties, go to Local Files, then click on Verify integrity of game files. Always a good place to start.

If that doesn't fix it, post your game.log.txt file (found in Documents/American Truck Simulator by default) to a site like pastebin.com (no account needed) then link to it here so we can take a look.

I did what nautofon and RenshawGamer said to try and I did both, but nothing worked, I installed 1.44 update and everything is fine. So I determined that there is a flaw in the new 1.45 update, SCS is going to have to create a fix update to fix the problem. Can you tell me what to do to create a bug report to SCS.

I have a 15.6" laptop computer with Steam and American Truck Simulator installed and I tried the American Truck Simulator game on this computer and the navigation map and the roads seem to be fine on this computer, So I determined also that it could be a resolution problem with the new 1.45 update, it must be with a computer screen bigger than 15.6" screen, so it would have to be resolution problem in the new 1.45 update. Any body have any sugestions.

Your 15.6" screen size is definitely not the cause of the problem.

There is a forum down the list called "Bugs". Please try to follow the "Bug Reporting Process" (big red link at the top there).

The most important part would be to share a screenshot, so that people can understand what you even mean by "blank spots".

I am finding as I try to play the American Truck Simulator game on the Montana event the missing spots in the roadway is running all thru the game.

I started a new profile in the American Truck Simulator game just to see how it is and its just fine all the roadway is there, but I can't do the Montana event. I can't understand whats wrong with my original profile why it has missing spots in the roadway.

Most likely you have a non comptable mod installed.

Do you use and graphic or environment such as Grimes? If yes disable it
