Given the fact we don't have the new engines yet, I'm going with it didn't go too well. I mean it's basically def file and an engine badge. That's like an hours work at most.

I don't know if anyone else actually noticed it or not but from the following image, the density of the road network of HOR DLC looks pretty low compared to the previous Iberia DLC.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
It is a bit weird that we haven't got these engines yet. Perhaps they're waiting for something. Or maybe some of their relationships have broken down again. The missing "new" VNL or the lack of an updated FH comes to mind, as does the complete absence of Iveco.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Or these brands just got jealous and are now giving SCS the silence treatment like some couples do to each other when one party flerts with another person. But yeah, I absolutely have to agree that it is weird that we haven't gotten anything from Iveco and Volvo (Brand, not group) since 2013, nothing from MB since 2015 (Again, brand, not group) and nothing from Scania since 2017.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
We have 7 brands in the game and they release on average 1 truck per year. Isn't rocket science to calculate the average of time you can expect to have no news of a brand in the game. Late years deals of "release it when IRL too" have also act like a wrecking ball on whatever their schedule would be.
They need to increase the size of the vehicles team, something that their new bigger office showcased in the blog several months ago could be a hing of. But that department cannot grow too much unless they find additional ways to monetize it. Otherwise its only increase the expenses with an absolutely minimal ROI due their policy with trucks. It's not just trucks what they need to release, it's also tuning DLC (ATS has a big lack of them), trailers DLC, hopefully new special transport DLC with new mechanics (trailer manual steering for very long cargoes has been speculated lots of times, for example) and the eternal talk about out-of-production trucks and the possibility they would not be free updates as modern ones. Anything of that or whatever else they can figure it out, they need to work on it so the vehicles team can grow enough to deliver trucks on a better pace than now.
Regards

Technically, Volvo Trucks and Volvo CE are separate business units.

Where did the information on this map come from? As far as I can remember, SCS never revealed the full map for the Heart of Russia DLC yet.xeviax wrote: ↑15 Aug 2022 20:24 I don't know if anyone else actually noticed it or not but from the following image, the density of the road network of HOR DLC looks pretty low compared to the previous Iberia DLC.

Am I the only one who sees light blue dots for future cities in Norway and Sweden, how long has that been there?
