Man E6 D2676 release engine sound 2022/06/26

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

It works but you have to add Madster's Man to definition.

silpa47, all you do is find the internal name of the truck mod and then unpack this sound mod using 7zip or winrar, then create a folder with that modded truck name, "Madster's Man". Then take that folder and place it in the def/vehicle/truck "folder", then open one of the man.tgx folders and copy all of the folders in that folder and place them into the modded truck, "Madster's Man" folder and then repack the sound mod with 7zip or winrar as a .scs stored folder or .zip folder, doesn't matter which using the same name as the sound mod, place the new sound mod into the mod folder of ETS2 and activate it in the mod manager and your done.

There no .sii files to edit, so this is very straight forward.

If you already have this mod activated in the mod manager, just remove the "old" mod and replace it with the "new" sound mod using the same title .scs or .zip
Now when you go to the garage to buy a new engine the engines will be available to purchase.

Make a backup just in case.

Unless it's Madster's man, you'd have to ask the author. I don't have that mod and if it's a paid mod this isn't the place to ask.

I don't know if it's the idle sound, but the constant noise (rushing) while driving is not nice.
I do not have other sound mods, so it could be the idle sound?
