External images
Why aren't external images not shown anymore? Instead all external images that were automatically shown are now replaced by an url named [ external image ].
And more importantly, why aren't we, as users, not informed about this change?

Re: External images
You were informed about the change with the popup asking you to accept the cookies. If you declined the cookies, then won't see external images.

Re: External images
Just a public service announcement:
The "popup" that gives you the option to accept cookies is blocked by at the very least Adblock for Chrome, and probably other adblockers as well, which means you may never have even seen it if you run an adblocker.
To fix the issue, pause your adblocker, refresh the page, and you should get the popup so you can select "accept cookies". You can then re-enable adblocking and resume browsing, and the images will load properly.

The Problem is "I don't care about Cookies", Add On for Firefox.
Long time before I had the same Problem.

Re: External images
Thanks for the info, was wondering why no external images where showing on either my phone or desktop, I thought SCS had done it for bandwidth reasons or something. Now I know why, weird though I never got a popup asking to accept cookies. So I cleared the saved ones and tried again to which it worked. No more needlessly having to open an external link to see imagessupersobes wrote: ↑02 Jan 2022 16:46 You were informed about the change with the popup asking you to accept the cookies.
