Next ATS truck speculation

We just need a breath of fresh air on ATS... Be either a Volvo, Mack, Pete or Kenny (Fingers crossed for the 579)... Whatever it is, just bring it before the year ends. And please, enough with Daimlers and Internationals.

Well, if they are taking notes, they should release the new 579 and the new T680 at the same time, that should stir up the pot. *wink, wink*

I tried this one, it looks great but something feels off... Don't know if it's because it is a mod or it's something else.

And it takes a whole lot, huge whole lot more for SCS to take notes than just 1 guy really wanting a specific thing.

Because as far as we all know, the only one left that was known by the community to be in the pipeline is the 5700.

Excuse me but how was that worked out? I don't remember seeing anything which really suggests it's a project which is actively being worked on by SCS. Please link where that info came from, I'd be quite interested to see it.

@55sixxx that's what I'm saying. Everybody is talking about the NEW VNL when, to me, the message is clear as the light of day: they're rebuilding the one that we already have in the game. And I hope I'm right because that's the only truck in this world that has a special place in my heart.

The truck being scanned in the video is clearly the modern New VNL, not the original 2016ish era VNL model we presently have in ATS. Highly unlikely to me that they'd be replacing the current VNL model with a rather different version.

When you look at ETS2 trucks, they leave the old one in the game. SCS paid for licenses for older trucks just like they pay for new licenses. They loose money if they pretty much wiped out a previous gen truck. Why would ATS be any different that ETS2 though. Any older generation model is a totally different license than a new generation. That ship as sat and sailed on older trucks. There is also AI traffic models to worry about. Small tweaks and reworks is feasible for an older truck but not a complete generation change over. The standards for truck models is night and day now though. Nothing from the first 5 trucks should be use to create anything new.

Also note that most people at SCS, also are not native English speakers. So you'll have to read between the lines more.

I don't know. Last time I played without sound mod, it sounded like a broken truck.

So I would like to say something. Do you see the window of that truck? It has a split windshield. They should add that this time. They didn't add on Anthem but they should do it with Pinnacle and update the Anthem also.

people reading to much into it again, SCS meant the real VNL with this sentence, not the ingame one, because this IS the UPDATED version of the LEGENDARY VNL, it isnt a complete new developed truck

I badly want that to happen. The truck is not of my liking, but anything for being trolled!
