Patrik is not the lead for Texas. Simon is. Patrik just might be helping. This was noted some time ago that Simon.ednt was in charge of Texas. He worked under Patrik though.

Yeah iirc, it was the 2020 Xmas stream when Jakub told us what leads was doing what. That year, we got 2 new map leads...Davido on Wyoming and Simon on Texas. Jakub on the base rebuild and Patrik was not mentioned. It's been fairly obvious that Texas needs 2 teams worth of people. We kinda know this because Pavel mentioned that year that he wanted 25 or so on Texas. On that same stream iirc.

^It was mentioned in the Texas thread. I'd love to see the Big 6 in Texas actually get city buses. That would be the icing on the cake for new buses. The bus could be the same in each city really, just change to the 6 skins each city runs. Its pretty much just like the new skins we get for first responders in every dlc.

I wonder if northern Scandinavia will be expanded in the dlc north scandinavia or, however, the northern areas of Norway, Finland and Sweden will be left for some free expansion I think the UK will move to Ireland

There is less than zero reason to expect northern Scandinavia to be a free addition. Same with Ireland. At most there could be roads leading to the ferries to get to Ireland added for free to the base map as a result of the UK rework. But even those are likely to be behind an Ireland DLC.

We could get the isle of Gotland as a free update once they get to reworking the Scandinavia DLC.

We used to have city buses in the base game, they were common sight in the big cities there.A shame really that they didn't include them later on in the other big cities and did as you suggest right now.

^Yeah I think city buses should be a focus to personalize cities that have them. They just made new intro for garages in cities..why not personal city buses to emphasis cities. They don't have to spawn everywhere of course so they are limited considering the cities are only so many sq km. It makes each city that actually has a metro system feel more customized. I honestly don't think it would take much at all for the vehicle team to make a couple of buses and a skinner keep up with them just like the first responders. Iirc, I though San Francisco did this but it should expand out everywhere.

Its one more step to realism for many people. The Garland should really spawn like 1%. There is a much newer Greyhound model in NA. The Garland bus is the old Greyhound and Trailways bus from the early 90s. Those buses are rarely seen today. It would be cool to see SCS take one and make it broken down in remote rural areas with weeds growing around it. Texas would have been good for this.

Something like these would be great to see for the Garland bus
