Some months ago I decided to make a map, well, to be fair, I decided to learn how to make a map.
At first, I had 0 idea, I didn't even know how to start the map editor hehe..., but well, time has pass, I have already spent around 20 hours on the map editor (I know, it's nothing, but I'm starting to get used to the controls at least :O)
Now that I'm on holidays for quite a while, I have decided to start uploading videos to YouTube about me creating the map and I have also decided that it is time to create a new topic here, so more people get notified.
The first thing I want to share it's the playlist I'm creating on YouTube, the videos are time-lapses, therefore they might not be useful to learn, but I think it's quite cool to see how something starts and then how it finishes.

With that, out of the way, let's start talking about the map!:
- The idea is quite simple, I want to represent the north of Spain, more precisely Cantabria, the region where I live. The "problem" is that it is not an easy task as it is a very montaneous region and I still don't know how to properly add them (but I will at some point I hope haha).
- As the subject of the topic says, the map will be based on real life but fictional, with some places maybe being extremely close to real life (as long as I can) but others might be completely made up by me.
- I will release the map for free for everybody, I might give beta versions or something similar to supporters, but it's not time, neither the place, to talk about it.
- I'm going to upload some photos here as I keep progressing on the map, feel free to ask questions or even give me ideas
