Albania pre-research tips

Hello everybody!

As we're doing some pre-research for ETS2, we'd like to know your opinion on some of the things which we shouldn't miss in the game in our future planned DLCs - in this case for the ALBANIA state.

Unfortunately it can be very easy to miss some key spots when planning a future road network. We can judge only from what we read or see, while those who live there, have driven there or visited there, can point us towards some famous truck stops, interesting landmark, points of interest etc.

So we'd appreciate any tips which could be helpful for us and that could easily work with in-game mechanics. Try to keep in mind that we're interested in places connected with trucks and roads. So if you have some tips, we'd be grateful. Don't be shy to add photos / videos of said locations (in better quality, so our graphics can use them as pattern).

Please be aware, that states listed here mean absolutely no promise of what's the next DLC or what states will come first. Also we can't guarantee that we'll use the research you give us - it depends on many aspects (which can't be all written here).

Hello! As an albanian resident, currently living in Tirana, I have been waiting for years for this DLC to come out. So, I'd like to contribute whatever I can to make it as best as it is possible. Here ive given some suggestions about what should be included that is unique and deserves to be in the game, 3 viewpoints which i think portray the whole beauty of our country.

What can be included:
-Western Entrance:
The main palm-decorated highway entrance to the city
Some factories on the side of the highway, and shopping centers ("QTU", "City Park")
The new Intersection at the city entrance
The "Ring" shopping center near the roundabout right after you enter the city
The whole tree-decorated road leading all the way downtown (A turn right to the main downtown road would be ideal, from there you could see the whole wide street, the "pyramid", the presidents building, the stadium, the university, and a turn left would lead you towards the Southern Entrance)
-Southern Entrance:
The first roundabout which leads to the city, or the biggest shopping mall around, "TEG"
The Highway leading up to the roundabout on the cliff, which then leads you to the city.

In Tirane-Durres Highway:
-factories
-shopping centers ("QTU","City Park","Casa Italia", "Megatek"[near airport entrance])
-unique buildings ("Hotel Amadeus Palace", "Turgut Ozal College" [near Durres entrance])




Unique things to not be missed throughout Albania(which are close to the roads):

-The Black Drin River Bride Viewpoint (also maybe some history as how the whole old city is now sunken below the river)
-Qafe Thane Viewpoint, near the Macedonian border up in the hill( you can see the whole lake and an amazing view)
-Dajlani Bride (Durres)

(A hard but beautiful street to maouver in, the truck drivers back in the days were legends)

-The biggest Harbours (Durres and Vlore), but the Durres one should be moved a little to the north, as the harbor thats there right now will be replaced with a yaht port very soon.

There are so many things that can be included, but I am not sure how much we are able to put in the game.

I don't agree with police car example. Weren't those electric Golf GTE one-time buy? I can't really imagine Albania to have electric police cars, no offense. Are they that common across the country? If they would make regular Golf 7, that would be nice! I would say Hyundai Solaris or Tucson, or fresh new recent bought Octavia IV would be cool too.

Hello, I come here to give some information regarding Tirana. Near one of the entrances ( 41.28276530473179, 19.853675303373933 ), shown in the google maps is a roundabout, which connects the city's Greater Ring, the highway to Elbasan and TEG the shopping center. Just a few weeks ago, the construction to fix it has been completed ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVFxHoh ... ewsAlbania ). I do not know if this part of the road will be included, but if so i'd love to have the new version of the road, instead of the old roundabout.

Hey guys, long time no see!

Usually we have someone at hand with language skills of region currently in the making, but we didn't manage to get a hold of anyone speaking Albanian.
We can manage figuring out single words or simple phases, but wanted to add some more complex advertisements and are a bit worried if we managed to translate everything correctly.

Apologies for the delay, I would like to suggest that you add beer adverts to your billboards in Albania & Kosovo. Beer is quite popular with both the locals and the diaspora (yes, even people who say they are Muslim drink beer). There are several beer companies in the 2 countries (such as Birra Tirana & Birra Korça in Albania as well as Birra Prishtina & Birra Peja in Kosovo). Of course, you can try to make something original out of that like you do with other companies. Here are a few examples:
