ATS concept map (fanmade)
Re: ATS concept map (fanmade)
Remember one thing. Crossing into Canada is thru Customs, not Toll roads. There are no Toll crossings period, unless there is a bridge like crossing from Massena, NY to Cornwall, Ontario. That's because the bridge is the on the Mohawk Indian Reservation. Maps need US and Canadian customs just like going to Mexico.

I've hauled ass down the road to deliver new cars and trucks, fuel, freight, and produce. Now I'm addicted to ATS doing the same thing in a simulation.

This map is really cool.
Re: ATS concept map (fanmade)
Looks like ads678 updated the cities already. I’m sure once the road layout comes, that too will get updated. 29 cities isn’t bad at all. But the maps are never done. SCS has proven they go back to add misses. At least Davido does.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: ATS concept map (fanmade)
I could see Texas being a similar situation to Iberia in terms of, with Iberia they very clearly were overambitious and had a lot of planned roads that they had to cut to get the DLC out the door. Texas might be the same way where there might be a ton of content, but there might have been even more content if they had a bit more time (which sounds crazy with how long it's been in the oven but Texas is a huge state like Iberia is a huge region). I could see a previously-cut road or industrial zone here or there being added in the first few updates after Texas like what's happened with Iberia.
But honestly Texas is shaping up to be one of the more complete DLCs in terms of not having big glaring misses. Sure the northeast might be a bit empty and there might be a gap west of Fort Worth, but I don't think those will end up being things we miss or say "why didn't they add this" except for the pickiest of fans. We'll see once the map is revealed but it's looking pretty good based on what we know so far.

@flight50 With Texas it's a guessing game. Too many different options, especially after extending its development for one extra year.
I like how dense eastern part of the state looks. Hopefully now people will stop saying that the East Coast looks too optimistic on my map.
I'm really surprised that my prediction for the number of cities (29) was very close (28-30 cities in different versions of my map), 24 of them I got right.

If anything, based on how dense east TX is, the east coast might even be a little denser than it is on your map. Pretty reassuringads678 wrote: ↑05 Nov 2022 16:00 @flight50 With Texas it's a guessing game. Too many different options, especially after extending its development for one extra year.
