The Actros 4 in-game is barely useable and considering it has one of the most well made tuning packs (Behind the Renault T Pack and NG Mighty Griffin of course), you can throw some parts to make it look a little decent. The FH's however, are very innacurate truck models and it's tuning pack has the most low poly parts I've ever seen that it looks like it was done in a rush.

That's why I'd take the FH5 first over the Actros 5.

I get that. As far as being inaccurate I dont see these trucks in person very often as I live in the US. I see them every couple years when I go to europe for work and thats about it. Hard for me to notice the inaccuracies. Ignorance is bliss . The low poly stuff is my biggest complaints. I usually run darker paint jobs to try and hide that stuff as much as possible. XG quality and id be happy as a clam.

About this game models conversation, IMO SCS' Actros MP4 was a nice looking model back at the time it was released (2015 i think)
even with certain parts being a bit inaccurate or missing I dind't mind for that for quite long, it is the truck I have spent more driving time ingame to date with over 200,000 km adding up the mileage of my 3 main MP4 (2563, 1848 and 4163) in a profile than is about to reach the 500.000 km mark

I particularly believe that it would be a step backwards to reuse any part from the current '4 model to make the MP5, I would prefer 1000x times the opposite - MP5 being made with the most current SCS standards from scratch and this serving as possiblity to update the MP4, if MP4 got a massive update or the MP5 get done from the current MP4 model resulting both at same overall quality I would hardly choose the MP5 to drive over the MP4, since I prefer to the '4 dash btw

Just to cite few issues I notice on SCS MP4 - external cab looks a little bulky in comparision to RL model - chassis are pretty empty with some parts missing - the use of very reflective materials on parts i think should looks as aluminium besides the pixelated bump maps - headlighs needs a rework - 6x2 and 6x4 chassis ingame have a wheelbase longer than the longest option available on the Mercedes Configurator for semi types (excluding rigids of course) when the most common 6x WB IRL looks as the shortests ones (3250mm and 3400mm) and and so on

SCS' Volvo FH4 at this point looks as a cardboard replica, I dont want to sound disrespectful but these game models have showed their ages long ago, at least the Volvo FH 2012 is in a better situation than FH3 and Scania R' for example

As about my speculations for this 10 years I don't expect much beyond than a WoT event, resulting in some cabin accessories and paintjobs as rewards. I like it, since 95% of my ingame time is doing WoT jobs, and I think WoT has been very quiet past few years rarely has an event not related to a map expansion or christmas like the IAA or the Potato haulage in ATS

for late 2022 the biggest things related to vehicle models I could hope for is the Feldbinder DLC or New TGX, both being optimistic and way more optimistic - a teaser for Schwarzmüller expansion

1.46 is definitely a disappointing "anniversary" release. Here's hoping we get a surprise announcement after the public 1.46 release about new game features, new trucks etc etc. Game starting to become stale now.

Also I'm just desperate for proper rigid truck support in the vanilla game (not needing mods).

It's not the 19th yet... Hoping whatever they got cooking for the 10th Annivesary would come on the first day of OB it's like wanting your Xmas gifts to be given to you on the 12th of December instead of the 25th.

But beta generally means the update is feature complete (in code), and now only bug fixes happen. What we've been shown in the OB is what we're getting in 1.46. Anything else will be 1.47+

May I remind of the JOST fifth wheels!? The roof horns of 1.38!? TGX EL3 of 1.43!? Cascadia MY2022 also of 1.43!? SCS does and have released additions mid-beta.

Hope they update the rest of the models with Jost 5th wheels. My pretty daf needs it hah. Kinda surprised its not part of the beta. They ever say why some got them and others didn't? im pretty sure they said something about adding some at a later date.
