Are there any hidden roads or sneak peeks of Oklahoma through the developer free cam in the open beta 1.46?

Texas with Oklahoma really compliment eachother in the game. Unlike Idaho or New Mexico, where many of the outward cities for a time really weren't accessed by many (I still don't think I've been to Clovis for instance, and anyone knows about how far out of the way Salmon was), Oklahoma because of Texas feels like many of the cities wouldn't be super out of the way.

Colorado to me was easily the best DLC in connecting other states together like it did to Utah and New Mexico. I feel Oklahoma would rival that somehow. In a good way.

Way too soon for this... Maybe with 1.47 or 1.48 depending on how for they are now into OK.

There is nothing to be seen south of Lamar, and any other area you might see something from will come with the Texas DLC, so it's really too early to look at this.

I think Kansas will be even bigger along those lines. Oklahoma will only connect Colorado with Texas via US-385. Kansas will connect them via much more.

Agreed. Kansas will help Oklahoma feel less isolated in the map. Like, yeah there's the CO connection, but otherwise it'll feel a little like New Mexico did before Colorado, just with Texas being Arizona in this scenario.

Of course, the gap between getting OK-KS is going to be significantly shorter than the NM-CO gap was. ;)

Much much shorter, lol. With Texas coming, that leaves 3 paid map teams and 1 rebuild team. I don't think SCS will go 2 paid map teams and 2 rebuild teams. SCS needs to keep their foot on the gas if they still plan on doing Canada and Mexico. We'll get back to 2 states a year if not 3. Oklahoma without a doubt should be our Summer 2023 dlc. Or one giant map as a bundle with OK+KS+NE. More ETS2 style could work too. For the most part, that is what Texas is. So I can't rule out larger maps vs multiple releases. To be, multiple map releases is more stressful on the devs. Easier to make single map deadline than to keep 3 of them in one year. Annnnnd still have to worry about ETS2, that's a lot of releases. Keep it simple. The ATS map is getting large enough that ATS might actually be okay with getting larger chunks of maps. Some people are for this, some are against.

I'm cool with one solo state and one bundle as well per year. Who knows if SCS is aiming at 5 map leads to really get the ball rolling. Pavel always says that it depends on our wallets. I'll do my part, that's for sure. I'm sure many of you will do the same.

Of course we have no idea if OK-KS-NE will be single bundle. But Pavel said the team moved onto the next few "states". Moreover, the 1.45 gas assets were of OK, KS, and NE. This is still a mystery we may not know for another month. Bundle would be more efficient, since we could get more I-70 and I-80.

It's honestly too early for hidden roads, especially when OK hasn't been added to Steam yet. If OK is standalone, June should work. I think one team could do LA/AR. Now I know the Texas map is technically finished now, with only a few looking for bugs. I am more on the side of larger maps, because if they charge $11.99 for a small state, it wouldn't be fair. Texas makes 3 teams, and Davido makes 4. 5 is pretty feasible. They could reach the Great Lakes by late 2025...

Texas only has 3 because they took pretty much all of Jakub's rebuild team and I'm sure some of Davido's team. Both Jakub and Davido should get some back once Texas releases if they haven't already. To get 5 teams, they must hire more people. It may or may not be too soon for that though.

I too feel that many states will be released together in the future...
