I drive European Trucks too, I was joking, but yeah it's not noticeable, even on some American trucks you can't feel the effect, which is why SCS made it an option!

Edit: I have a master's degree in Mechanical engineering, and one of the chapters on my graduation project was studying the torsional effect on the commercial vehicles chassis frame for Hyundai Truck and Bus!

Yes indeed on some American trucks it is not too noticeable either but it exists there, whereas in the EU we have less torque, less power too, and gearboxes to prevent this.

And this is even more reduced since the automatic gearboxes

We have got new beta version but did not get new string to translate on Crowdin. Why? 😳

I think it's more like you didn't know, making mods doesn't make you a truck connoisseur.

I'm in the business Mr so I can guarantee you that on our EU trucks we don't have this torque transmission effect at all, or it's much less important and not noticeable at all when driving.

We in Europe have torque reducers on our trucks ;) .
Well I'm a real trucker driver too
My former truck a volvo fh3 4x2 with 460hp did that and now my man tgs 26.400 does that

On some european trucks the effect is barely noticeable but it is still there. And on heavy haulers the effect is just as much visible as in their north american counterparts... I can confirm this because I have seen hundreds of trucks here in my country, that are made by european brands, almost pull a wheelie due to how heavy some loads are here in my country.

So, just because the regular OTR truck does not have this effect on a large scale, it does NOT mean it's not realistic... Or would you rather not have this option in the menu and stay with the same physics when pulling a massive load with, let's say, a 730S!?

In conclusion, it should come and if it doesn't, me and all the other players have all the right to be displeased and criticize.

I want this option in ETS2 because It's realistic, barely noticeable doesn't mean nonexisting, with a rear wheel drive Mercedes E350 1998 manual on a hill start( using hand brake ) you can feel the left side leaning slightly.

Funny, some people think the European manufacturers can just turn of physic, European truck can twist just like US ones, there is no difference in physics, US trucks show it more prominently only because the distance from driveshaft to front wheel is longer then it is on any European trucks, because I see them twisting all the time when the driver pushe the pedal down quick enough, the torque for it is more then plenty available and US engines dont necessarilly have more torque at all, quite the opposit, our engines have sometimes even more especially if we are in the high HP range

They can't turn off physics, but they can improve the torsional stiffness of the chassis, for example, when I used to work at Hyundai, the longer the chassis the more reinforced it is for the purpose of reducing the driveshaft torque effect.

By reinforcing I mean they add inner beams to the chassis on a specified spot(s), after a lot of finite element simulation and analysis.

I don't recall there being an E350 for the W210. Do you mean E320?
