Try adjusting the automatic center force in your driver settings

Have a question about the AT plugin. Whatever SCS did completly messed the Adaptive transmission and I am trying to get this one to work. It shifts perfectly, but it doesnt seem to know what Kickdown is. It shifts great at super low RPM but when you floor it it still shifts at like 1200RPM instead of the 2200 RPM that the INI has listed as MAX_RPM. am I missing something?

P.S And is there different modes you can set the shifting to, aka eco, performance stuff like that?

uset g_logitech "1" no longer in my config.cfg

#2184 Post by Goggles56 » 25 Nov 2022 20:51

I changed out my motherboard and CPU on Monday and ever since my FFB plugin doesn't work. I looked in the config file and it looks like the command "uset g_logitech "1"" is missing. Tobii and trackir are still there as is thrustmaster. No logitech.

uset g_thrustmaster "1"
uset g_tobii "1"
uset g_trackir "1"

I tried adding logitech but when I go back into the config, it's gone.

Any ideas?

No, really? I didn't know that. Seriously tho, not having feedback from the road, some accidental bumps, etc is just meh and makes this plugin kinda lacking. Even tho the actual feel of the steering is improved drastically, the lack of everything else in exchange is not worth it.
100% agreed.

Too many lost features to make the plugin worth it - has absolutely nothing to do about racing or crushing or whatever OP said... But not even feeling rumble strips? Bumps on a dirt road?

Meh.

On my car with 17'' wheels i don't feel nothing on a steering wheel on a rumble stripes. There is just only sound i hear.
Anybody can proove vibrations on steering wheel from a rumble stripes on a truck with 22.5'' wheels?

I am a truck driver in real life and when you get on the outer rumble strip you also feel the vibration like a car with 21 inch rims.

You absolutely can feel rumble strips and that's by design. Sound and tactile vibration are both features of rumble strips. Why? Because of physics.

Frankly, I can't believe you don't feel rumble strips in your car unless they're poorly maintained on your roadways - even then, I don't buy that.

Request: Upload project to GitHub!.. I've done a little ffb rumble plugin to my old toy wheel and bought a g29 now. It would be much easier to get decent immersive ffb with a project to base on. ^^

I tried your plug in, it hooks to my wheel, but it just makes it heavy. I see behavior change while stopped and moving but its stiffness doesn't change as I speed up. If this doesn't become a public open source project I might just make one myself from scratch.

I could help with LED support for g29 & proper engine feedback. Unfortunately for me, for now, it's back to weird base game's FFB.

Probably the reason I can't use your plugin is because I got GHub and not that Logitech Profiler app.
