ATS 1.47 speculation
Re: ATS 1.47 speculation
There's so many other things missing in the game to worry about ATM's. The something for The Sims. I rarely carry cash and even more rare are checks. Card theft is high because yes mostbif us swipe or now.....tap, Paypal, Google pay, Apple pay or Samsung pay.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

It would be great if they introduced the automatic lighting of lights, when it begins to get dark and it becomes night.

We don't need them at all: it would just be a way to get money without using the menu. It's like driving to a truck dealer to purchase as opposed to buying "online".
Re: ATS 1.47 speculation
But then what would you spend this cash on that we currently have in-game? Just filling the truck up? Because I can’t imagine you drive around with thousands in bills laying around.

Re: ATS 1.47 speculation
Well, I'd love more things to buy, but that's a separate discussion. Right now, to borrow money, we have to leave the game to use a menu.
But if there are banks all over, we could drive to the bank, interact with the trigger, and borrow that way. If there are multiple "brands" of banks, perhaps we could get loans from each. Nothing more complicated than that.
We had something similar in FS13. There were ATMs with triggers that allowed a player to borrow money by walking up to them.
It just seems a bit futile to continue to get chains of businesses that we can't interact with in any way. We have hotel networks with no sleep triggers, restaurants that don't take or serve food, truck washes that don't wash anything (hopefully yet), a growing number of gas stations that don't serve gas, and now banks that don't have money lol.

My another speculations:
Like I already said Denton (north of Fort Worth) has a Peterbilt truck dealer, near the American Truck Haulers depot.
[ external image ] Here is a picture showing Peterbilt truck dealer in Fort Worth (Denton), TX.
[ external image ] The real-life Peterbilt plant in Denton, TX must look in update 1.47 like in this picture.
At last, about [ external image ] Arkansas. Of course, I understand about Texarkana that located between Texas and Arkansas, as found in map editor with a very incomplete intersections. If we will have Arkansas Highway 151, we will go to Arkansas.

I like to play ETS2 and ATS!

To be fair, 99% of all these speculation threads are just articulated wishes and hopes that finally make it into the game (a wish list for the current iteration, if you will)....werewoooooooolf wrote: ↑24 Nov 2022 00:08It’s a Speculation thread, not a wishlist threadseriousmods wrote: ↑23 Nov 2022 08:42 I would love to be able to follow a driver to a destination and grab one part of a two (or more) part load.
Re: ATS 1.47 speculation
As already you guys mentioned here on the 10th and 24th of this month, I think these truck washes are increasingly 'visible'. Maybe something is cooking... it may come soon, who knows in v1.47
I believe that when the dirt system arrives, to clean the truck in the truck wash, there will be a cutscene similar to the animated ferry from ETS2, where you see the truck boarding the ferry and it passing by the river... in the truck wash maybe it is the same thing, the dirty truck entering the box, water starts to fall and voila, the truck is clean.

Personally I'd prefer if we got to drive through them ourselves rather than have control taken away through a cutscene.
I think trucks are cool.
