@Reinhard - Previously mappers would have a set amount of stamp sizes they could use which you could resize by editing the btf files with a hex editor to effectively set them to zero, essentially removing all stamps from the map, back then though color wasn't used nearly as much as it is now.

I've got the feeling, AI routing and behaviour got much worse with 1.46, both in ETS2 and ATS: Never seen so much AI accidents and hazard lights before...
I am using only traffic mods which add more different vehicles, but as far as I know none which changes AI behaviour. And I can't remember it was so bad with 1.45 and lower.
Can anyone confirm?

Same. I do use 'Real Traffic Density' but since last update the AI behaviour is deffinitely different - I consistently run into long lines of traffic held up by an unresolved 'stand off' between two AI vehicles where neither moves for ages. Prior to the last update I am absolutely certain I never resorted to a save and re-launch to resolve AI traffic issues, but now that is an almost nightly solution....
All these years and still on my bum in a puddle, scratching in the dirt....

The toll gate problem in Iberia is there since the beginning...

In the past the traffic AI has been pretty good at resolving issues, cars moved back and forth until something had clearance and generally the problem resolved itself. Since 1.46 I have watched for fifteen real life minutes while absolutely nothing happened between the two vehicles involved in the 'standoff' during which time an enormous queue of traffic built up behind. the Spanish tollbooths is defo new in 1.46 and it makes the Iberia almost unplayable traffic did not back up for a mile because first car always want lane change right at the "entrance" of the toll prefab.

I think SCS messed up with the AI movement again. There are few cars on single-lane roads and often too in cities. On highways and 2 lane roads it's ok, although I think a lot more trucks are going in the opposite direction than mine. I use DB creation traffic mod for promods and all AI packs from Jazzycat. At 1.45 the movement was better I think.
