They can't win which ever way they go.

If they say nothing people moan that they aren't working on X and it'll be years. If they post about it, people assume it's coming within months or at least same year.

Maybe it would be better if they note things are unlikely to come X year. If it does come no one is likely to complain it's early.

^Exactly.

It's was the same thing with Texas price change, if they had announced days before people would've complained the same way they complained when they announced on the release day. There is no win with the #bestcommunityever.

They should've at least killed any expectations people had of the TGX releasing this year with a simple: "We are sure this won't release this year".

It is high time to get used to the fact that the SCS are inconsistent and do not give any guarantees until the last moment, no matter what they themselves say at that time.

That's the thing though, they have never once given any time frames or made false promises. This isn't SCS being inconsistent this is the players looking at something, hearing something, or reading something, taking it way out of context and then making assumptions based on those incorrect assumption.

On the contrary, SCS is VERY consistent. As you said, they never give guarantees until the very last moment; so everything else is just wishes, hints and teases with no further commitment on them. There's players, lots of them, who are also very consistent in the way they misinterpret things or let their hopes blindfold themselves.

I said since first day seeing MAN images it could take more than 1 year to see it released, considering the stage of the project shown on them. Some people don't want to buy such long time guess due their impatience; then it's their problem if they imagine something shorter and it becomes a wrong guess.

Point is, this is an absolutely asymmetrical scenario. No matter how much some players believe something will happen; only SCS decides what, when, how...

Somewhat different question.

I purchased an ultra wide monitor (2560x1080). It became more visible, but I noticed that the image on the sides is very distorted and I can not fix it in any way.
If anyone has a solution to this issue, please let me know.

Even one more truck for the ATS may not be a reality this year. Of course, we still have until the December 20th before the Christmas and New Year holidays, however, I see it difficult for something to happen.
