ATS made it into top 100 last week, has been on the list for 2 weeks, rank 81 down from 71
ETS2 is 28 down from 17 been in top 100 for 515 weeks, that is a bit impressive considering GTA V has been on list only for 411 weeks :D

@NoDe31 Fine then, If you guys want to keep going on a hunch from steamdb to define whether Texas was a flop or not, knock yourselves out... Only SCS truly knows how it did and none of you we'll ever get to know for sure.

Also, no need to throw offenses, pal... My original post was not towards you, there was no need to get butthurted about it.

ATS doesn't produce as much revenue as ETS2
Thats a fact

Sure it doesn't, but my point is that a number from SteamDB of daily players do not define whether Texas was a fail or not. Only SCS knows it and they won't disclose the numbers.

Numbers are numbers, and as ATS and ETS2 are "steam only" game, steamdb is actually qute precise for overall picture... As for "opinions" comment... Well, I did not say " your opinion", so as you can see its not singular word... its plural... thus its not meant to offend you personally, It is more sarcastic comment on how people think that their opinion is somehow more important then "sales metric"... I personally will always take "fact" (numbers in this case) over someone's "opinion".

your "fact" is also just an estimation made by SteamDB from the reviews multiplied by 2 numbers average, and if we go by Steam DBs "facts" ATS should have soled 4 to 10 million copies, in reality it soled over 3 million

so, it is non saying, it is as good as people estimation how good or bad Texas soled, nothing but estimations made by people, doesnt matter it a user says it or if it is a number randomly guessed by an API

SteamDB while is not 100% correct number its still somewhat good starting point for quite good estimation... definitely better then someone's puled out of their a** head...
But yes, you are 100% correct, everything is just "estimation" , thats why people should not respond to someone "opinion" like that: quote: "Don't take anything that guy posts seriously."... Like his, mine, bla,bla,bla,opinion... is anything more serious then just a simple guess..

A fact will be when someone from Steam or SCS comes out with the sales number, everything else is speculation,we all get that. But what is wrong if we all give our view on the case or the numbers. And you telling how people should respond to someone else opinion given how you reacted or the words that you used is how any different than the guy you are trying to criticize.
