Texas DLC: Avid Historian Achievement
Re: Texas DLC: Avid Historian Achievement
I think I might have a few that did not count, maybe I should double check?

Re: Texas DLC: Avid Historian Achievement
In some of them you must be extremely close for them to count(Almost touching), I happened to me in a few locations.
Also in locations with more than one count only as one.(diferent histories or the same that is too long for only one marker)

Re: Texas DLC: Avid Historian Achievement
I like this achievement. Feels nice every time I discover another sign!
(I guess me hitting the brakes hard and then crossing the street in a completely irresponsible way would make the AI traffic disagree, though )
I don't like the achievements where you need to do very specific jobs and they don't spawn for ages. Still on the lookout for turbine towers to Colorado. Not even sure which ones I already did ages ago and which ones I still need

Re: Texas DLC: Avid Historian Achievement
While this achievement was a challenge, it was fun to do. As stated by some they are sometimes inconspicuous and hard to locate, but it made the challenge more fun. I was able to get most of these by just exploring all the roads (yes I have 100% explored roads with all the DLC), but there are some unmapped roads that have markers on them that you have to find.
I personally don't think SCS at any fault at all for making this challenging. It adds to the fun of exploring the map!

i'm at 99,97% at the moment with 26/30 found without looking. You really have to drive close to get it, for better or worse, discovering the road is not enough.
Best Regards.

Re: Texas DLC: Avid Historian Achievement
Agreed. I would much rather do a treasure hunt like this than have to deliver to the same yard ten times, and in the meantime I get to learn a little more about the history of the area I'm driving in rather than retreading the same old ground. My one disappointment with Avid Historian is that there is no way for the game to keep track of historical markers 31 and up as I'd really like to discover them all
Cheers, Steve
