Xbox One controller issue

Hello!

I've been playing ETS 2 with a controller for quite some time without any issues. Just recently did I have a big issue whenever selecting my layout/bindings via Steam. Whenever I select my personal binding and leave the controller layout menu, it resets back to the game's default. I have created a new layout and even that does not work. I am currently playing with mods, but have tested it vanilla. Hope anyone can help!

I have the exact same issue. I have an Xbox One Controller and it happens on both Windows and Linux. The fact that it just resets is really annoying me as I wanted to come back to playing the game.

Cannot use a custom config here too, I always have to modify the official one for it to work but whenever there's a game's version upgrade I lose my modifications and have to start over again.
