Yes but truck and bus traffic (>7,5t) is not allowed on the bridge, at least not for the moment. It is unknown when they will let heavy vehicles on the bridge and bypass road over Pelješac peninsula. Possibly when the newly built bypass road is finnished later this year.

I have one specific question.

How often are "Carina" cars visible in Croatia specially on the borders?

As for schengen area borders, they are past but on big borders with BiH you can see them parked here and there... outside borders control... I live 35years in Zagreb, and I saw them only once in action outside their offices and borders...
