Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Well, from that I could only conclude that they will remodel the newer one of the two we currently have, not the old one, the 2009 model. Maybe I am missing something?

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
SiSL literally says they remake the current FH from scratch and add the facelift parts to it

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Yeah SiSL said they are remaking the latest (2012) one. I think that excludes the 2009 model.
Well not really surprised, I don't think SCS's current plan is to rework old models unless there is something new to come with them.
The W900 is reworked due to having a tuning DLC coming. The Volvo FH has some real life updates so they are reworking it.
Both the MAN trucks which are also reworked apparently, don't have any new content announced but I am confident a tuning pack will come for them too.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Isn't the problem with Iveco that they had a bit of an ownership kerfuffle and an ensuing de-merger, which was completed in early 2022? SCS made no official comment on the matter, but I assume that work on/with Iveco may have stalled during the changeover.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Agreed. I think the 389x may fall in that same boat and bring a reworked 389. The oldest trucks in both games can get a boost but it has to make sense.JaDaKa wrote: ↑08 Feb 2023 23:50 Yeah SiSL said they are remaking the latest (2012) one. I think that excludes the 2009 model.

I think the 579 and T680 and perhaps the Actros will also follow the same suit. Once they are to refreshing old works, there’s no going back.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Interestingly, the rework takes place with the help of CAD, or as before, according to the photo?
I translate via Google Translate. Sometimes he does it badly. I beg understand and forgive.

The belief is it's CAD? Not sure if there is confirmation about it as well but that's what the stream pictures indicated.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Which tool they use you ask? Anything more accurate than whatever they used to create those older trucks. Should be expecting a decent result.
